Sarah Exposito, MS, OTR/L
Sarah Exposito earned her Bachelor of Science: Speech-Language Pathology with a minor in coaching at SUNY Buffalo State University where she also competed as a collegiate swimmer. Her passion to empower individuals with intellectual, sensory, and orthopedic needs led her to discover the field of Occupational Therapy (OT). With this focus in mind, Sarah went on to continue her educational journey at Hofstra University where she earned her Master of Science: Occupational Therapy. Soon after receiving her license, Sarah joined the team at C.J. Allen OT Upper Extremity & Hand Therapy as a bilingual therapist offering evaluative and therapeutic services in Spanish. She has chosen to specialize in the rehabilitation of the upper extremity and is pursuing becoming a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).
Sarah is dedicated to providing individualized client-centered therapy with a strong focus on activity analysis in order to prevent future risk of injury and promote improved occupational performance. In addition to hand therapy, she has experience treating pediatric populations and providing related special education services. Aside from being a clinician, Sarah is a triathlete and a coach for a local master’s swim team where she trains competitive athletes in conditioning and stroke technique.
